Statics show that people are keeping more and more pets, in fact it’s in the millions and they are spending large sums of money on pet food, grooming, toys, accessories, vet bills and insurance which falls in the billions of dollars per year.

As people are more and more driven to connect with pets, unhealthy relationships with pets ensue by which people feel entitled to do as they please. Most people see their pets as family members, similar to their children, and they place them on a mental hierarchy by which the pet is seen to be of a lower rank and of their possession.

Here are my top 10 lessons pets indirectly teach us:

that it is ok to be someone’s servant
that it is ok to remove babies of other species from their biological parents and environment
that it is acceptable to vaccinate and medicate animals, without their consent
that it’s acceptable to castrate animals, withholding their sexual impulses and managing their reproduction
that it is acceptable to own another species and to buy and sell them in an open market
that its ok to keep animals captive, chained and leashed
that it’s permissible to abuse animals by performing unnatural procedures on them, ie: de-clawing, ear clipping, fur trimming…
it’s acceptable to feed them processed food on a regular basis
it's ok to force them to do tricks, perform in shows, and win awards for our personal benefit
that it’s ok to euthanize an animal when we determine, regardless of their wishes

By consenting to the above treatment of pets, we are in essence also giving our Masters permission to treat us in a similar fashion. If we do it, we must agree to its moral justification. Everything we do to animals carries a karmic principle and can be used against us in the life review. I’m not stating here that Source Souls should not have pets nor that they should immediately release their pets onto the streets, I’m just providing these insights to enhance your understanding of the condition you are in. In a healthy situation most SS would not want pets because they would get their emotional needs met from their loving families. However, within the matrix Source Souls are not in a natural condition. Pets for many SS act as a lifeline to help them cope with loneliness. Therefore, I encourage you to foster a relationship with your pet which is founded on respect and care, and on a deep understanding of the nature of your relationship. Understand that your freedom and your pet’s is intricately intertwined and a relationship based on justice and care is fundamental to your mutual well-being.
